Dear Fellow CRONA Nurses,
The tentative agreement passed by 76% of the entire membership.
This has been a long and tumultuous process. While the contract has many problems, we were able to make important improvements only because you remained united behind CRONA. It is this solidarity that will carry us through the next negotiations that will begin in January 2013.
We would like to thank the CRONA Executive Board and the Negotiation Committees for their tireless efforts and spending many hours of their own time in getting us through these negotiations.
To the area representatives who kept their peers informed and gathered proxy forms, we thank you.
We also thank the Ballot and Election Committee including those who helped at the polls for their assistance during four voting occasions within the twelve months.
We are very proud of our membership and how we stood together and refused to let the hospitals impose an unfair contract on us.
